Emigration Canyon

Savannah and I went Hiking at the top of Emigration Canyon this weekend and we got some amazing pictures of the autumn leaves.  The maples are going crazy right now and it is so beautiful up in that area.  Here are a few of the pictures.

Pictures from video.

These are some pictures that I pulled from the video we shot on Thursday at Canyons.  I wish I would have taken some time to take some still pictures rather than pull them from video because they would have turned out a lot better.  I like these though because they show the motion really well.  I'm excited to get out and film some more.  Last time was a great learning experience and I have a lot of new ideas.

The Canyons

Today Ryan and I were at Canyons Resort shooting some more video for my video production class project.  Here are some stills of the trail and woods that we were in.  We got some great footage and learned a lot more about what not to do when filming.  Ryan is excellent to film.  He has endless energy and is a great rider!  We tried to be really creative with the filming and the pictures below show some of that.

Here I am up in the tree.  I got a really cool shot up here, but that tree was pretty sketchy.  I look like a creepy stalker ha ha.  Ryan came up with this idea.  I'm glad the branches held up.

Another great sunset from a couple nights ago.  The leaves up in Park City are changing and I can't wait to get back out this weekend and get some pictures.

Summer Pictures

These pictures were taken this last weekend when Savannah and I were hiking in Bell Canyon

I love these silhouettes of the tree and Savannah below.

This picture below and the one on left above were taken at Cascade Springs a few weeks ago.

These two picture were taken on my first bike ride back after my leg injury.  Needless to say I re-opened my laceration, but I got these two awesome pictures.  I wish I would have had my good camera to capture this amazing moment, but the phone camera worked well.

Here is my new downhill bike that I got to ride 5-6 times before I cut my leg open, which happened on my other bike because I did not have a bash guard over the chain ring.  After about 5 weeks the top 3/4 of my injury was healed and I thought I was ready to ride again, but on that ride I ended up having a little tip over (as mentioned above), thanks to crazy deer booking it through the woods and scaring the dump out of me.  I ended up re-opening the bottom of my wound again and extended my recovery.
